Jaymar Dracula Puzzle!

monster_drac_puzzle

Jaymar produced a series of super-cool Monster puzzles in the 1970s... each puzzle was marketed under the name of one monster, but they all seem to have included a bonus monster! This Dracula puzzle, for instance, also has the Frankenstein Monster!

Creepy Classics PVCs!

creepy0005

These were a series of PVC figures I found at the Dollar Store a few Halloweens ago. Some enterprising folks bought these up by the dozens, it seems, because they still pop up on eBay pretty often!

Vic's Frankenstein Jiggler!

An inferior product compared to the AHI Jiggler, this one does nonetheless feature some nice card art!

I've been trying to remember if this was one of those monster movies books that I used to check out regularly from my local library when I was a kid...

monster_franklifesize.JPG

I don't recall if this item was a home-made deal, or if it was commercially available. Pretty cool, either way!

Well, at least the Frankenstein Monster and Wolfman ones are AHI, I'm not sure about the others!

Castle of Frankenstein #18 Cover!

castlefrank18p.JPG

A bit of a Warren Comics-esque cover on this issue, presenting a much more buxom (and scantily clad) woman than we saw in any of the Universal Frankensteins!

War of the Gargantuas Italian Photobusta!

warofgargantuas_itlc4.jpg

For those of you recently joining us here at the Blog of Frankenstein, a reminder that this movie was the sequel to Toho's "Frankenstein Conquers the World," and the Gargantuas somehow sprang forth from the monster of the first film (which itself was somehow derived from the irradiated heart of the original Frankenstein Monster - some sources say it grew from the heart, others say a boy ate the heart and was mutated).
