I have no idea what the "unknown Frankenstein" was!

Universal Monster Danglers!

monster_universalrubber

These squishy danglers were sold through Walgreen's during October '06 or '07, I forget which... and may well have been offered during other Octobers, too! You'll note the Monster and the Bride are represented!

This was part of a series of Monster Stationery, although I've only ever seen the envelopes!

Frankenstein Conquers the World 8mm Box Art!

frankensteinconquers

This box art is interesting, only because it doesn't seem to be an adaptation of existing art for posters, but all-new artwork created specifically for the box!

Frankenstein Monster Ring!

monster_frank_ring

This absolutely gorgeous ring was offered on eBay a few times. Probably not the same ring, mind you! Another item that was probably not properly licensed, it was also very expensive (at least, for my budget)!

Revenge of Frankenstein UK Lobby Card!

revengefrankensteinlc2.jpg

Yes, I know the blue sticker stuck on it is in French... but if it weren't for that, it'd be the UK one. It's amazing to me that a blue sticker was used on that to make it French!

Custom-Made Aurora Model Kit Magnets!

monsters_magnets

These were offered just once (that I recall seeing) on eBay, and never since! Probably because these magnets were custom-made, and therefore unauthorized.

castlefrank24.jpg

While there's not a specific Frankenstein image on this cover, it is a Karloff tribute!

Remote Control Frankenstein Monster by Marx Toys!

frankenstein_marx.jpg

This is the same toy that was featured in an episode of The Munsters! At least, I think it was... except that on the Munsters it was radio-controlled, I think...

Frankenstein Monsters of the Movies Kit by Aurora!

aurora_mom_frank

Kudos to Aurora! When they produced this snap-together model kit in the 1970s, they called him The Frankenstein Monster, not just Frankenstein! I don't know if this was the same kit as their Monster Scenes model or not...

Ah, here's a better look at the Frankenstein Mystery Game!

Happy Birthday, Lon Chaney, Jr.!

Lon Chaney, Jr., born Creighton Chaney on February 10, 1906 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Played the Monster in Son of Frankenstein and Ghost of Frankenstein, as well as the Wolfman in Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula, and Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, plus he had a part in Dracula Vs. Frankenstein!

Frankenstein Mystery Game Board!

frankenstein_mysterygame3.jpg

You'll see more of this in the future, but this is the board for the 1960s "Frankenstein Mystery Game." There was also a Dracula Mystery Game by the same manufacturer.

Horrorscope Movie Viewer!

horrorscope_movieviewer.JPG

Here's a really interesting item... this "movie viewer" appears to use cartridges -- not film, but a series of still photos on a spindle -- that, when you turn the crank, is like an oldstyle nickelodeon movie viewer, like the flip-it features of some Big Little Books! I have no idea if it's actually photos or artwork, however...

Frankenstein-Like 1950s Costume!

frankenstein50scostume.JPG

Even though it's called "Monster Man," this costume is obviously "inspired" by the Universal Frankenstein!

Monster Card Game!

monster_cardgame2.jpg

This card game -- which I think was produced in Canada, but could've just as easily been made anywhere else -- is probably completely unauthorized. Why do I think this? Well, there's the Wolfman and Frankenstein Monster from Universal, the Cyclops from Ray Harryhausen's Sindbad movie, the giant caterpillar thing from It Challeged the World, one of Ghidrah's heads, and the Keeper and the Gorn from different Star Trek episodes!
